Gave it up

I'm giving up on you today.

I'm letting what this could be go

I just can't see where i'm going

This way is not right in my mind

Looking at photographs and wondering how it should be

I wasn't supposed to be the first to look at your eyes

I'm giving this up now

It's the best thing for me to do

I have to do this for my own safety

There's so much more to dream

There's a whole sky to fly

I can't make the same mistakes again

So, i'm giving up now.
